Help us meet the match! May 15 deadline!

May 2nd, 2010 — 8:25pm

Because good art is a good cause!

Help us meet the challenge!

It has been brought to our attention that our mail, some of which included donations, has been returned. Through a series of conversations with the post office, we have learned that a temporary postal carrier has erroneously returned our mail, believing that we did not have a mail receptacle. We definitely do have a mailbox, and we have not altered it in anyway. This matter has been resolved, and we have been assured that Storefront will receive all mail from this day forward! We apologize for any inconvenience.

As such, we continue to reach out to all of our friends of the Storefront Artist Project to ask for your support of this amazing initiative.

Berkshire Bank will match donations up to $5000 for all funds raised by Storefront by MAY 15 and we need YOUR help.

This incredible program doubles your donation, which will make a huge and immediate impact on contemporary art in our region.

The Storefront Artist Project, a nonprofit, is committed to contemporary arts programming by bringing artists and art making into the public realm through such means as placing artists in empty storefronts, hosting a visual artist residency at the Storefront, coordinating Open Studios, displaying an annual exhibition series, and developing educational outreach opportunities. Run primarily by volunteers, the Storefront can serve as a model of revitalization that any city can follow.

Please send your donation to the Storefront Artist Project, 124 Fenn Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201. Or if you prefer to use a credit card, please call 413-442-7201 or email mail@storefrontartist.org with your intentions, and we will contact you. If you plan to pledge a cash donation or if you plan to send your donation after May 15, please send us the below Pledge Form, downloadable from www.storefrontartist.org, BEFORE May 15. Thanks for your support!
